“Some Days I’m Gone” isn’t just a song. It is the pulse of my reality. My mind is a constant unfiltered stream of melodies and lyrics. It’s a persistent “mental boombox” where “I hear the snare drum like a shot” and the ideas never sleep. They don’t stop. During the decade I spent out of the public eye, managing a demanding job and circumstances I was barely holding on. These songs were my silent anchor. I was constantly writing, composing and practicing but I wasn’t in a good place to share it with the world. As of today, the music isn’t just coming back, it’s been here the whole time.
Now, I have reclaimed my time and returned to the craft with total focus. This track is an attempt to capture that exact feeling of being lost in my head, where the music is an obsession rather than a hobby. I am not interested in creating disposable, degenerative content or sterile mass produced sounds. Instead, I am building something deeply personal, intentional and undeniably handmade. My music is for those who dig a little deeper. It’s for people who value authentic artistry over trends and for people who are looking for a connection that lasts a lifetime.
I am back. I am here. I am ready to commit to this path entirely. I invite you to watch the video above and join me on this journey. You can support my work by visiting my website, PlayItCoolRecords.com, to pick up the album on vinyl, cassette, CD or digital download. Please reach out and connect with me on social media as well. Always Working, Always Creating,
