A Labor of Love: The Beatmaker RBO Vinyl Pressing

There is something undeniably real about holding a vinyl record you’ve spent months or even years bringing to life. Today, I’m excited to share that my self-titled album, Beatmaker RBO, is finally here on 12-inch, 45 RPM lathe cut vinyl. These aren’t mass-produced, factory-pressed records. Each of the 25 copies was cut individually in real-time. They are hand-numbered, hand-signed and a true labor of love.

The journey to this release has been about more than just music; it’s a love letter to my family and the life I am grateful to live. When I watch the needle hit the groove and hear the music that comes from it, I’m reminded of the late nights working and the moments shared with my wife and children that shaped these tracks. For the artwork, I turned to a painting by my friend; The inspiring artist Duda. His painting that the album art is based on has lived in my home for years. Seeing it front and center on the jacket, with a layout design by Dillon Stienike, feels like bringing a piece of my personal world into the hands of listeners.

Musically, this project is a reflection of life’s quiet, meaningful moments. I chose the track “All I Do Is You” to anchor the video. A song that captures the feeling of watching the rain and letting the clouds wash over your mind. The project was brought to life with the incredible help of Morgan Rezac on mixing and mastering, and Keeran Woode, who helped me arrange the opening track “Some Days I’m Gone”.

If you have a family or if you simply appreciate the tactile, deliberate nature of physical media, I hope you find something in these grooves to latch onto. You can find the limited edition, hand signed copies at PlayItCoolRecords.com. Thank you for supporting genuine art and walking this journey with me.

Always Working, Always Creating,
Beatmaker RBO
